Perhaps call it the 99% District? Or District 99%? That has a lot of power at the moment. Also funding of political campaigns is generally regulated in some manner... I think you're starting to large. Perhaps a DAO with the intent to create a solution to these problems, but no fixed plan. Membership could change the plan as necessary. |

I like your recommendations for the name change and would certainly welcome it being put to a vote. The funding of campaigns is definitely regulated- so what? I feel we're on the brink of significant societal change - if you consider "brink" to be over the next decade or so - where there's going to be A LOT of change and how politics are handled may likely be very different from what we see today. For example, is there any logical reason why the next presidential election shouldn't implement a blockchain voting mechanism? How many times do we hear someone/some entity botched the voting count and they need to do "recount"... Also, I guess I'd be neutral toward your comment that it's starting too large. There's no reason why it couldn't be approached incrementally step-wise (as you have suggested), but why wouldn't you want to lead, or be a part of, a potential game changer in how the world functions? Right now the "system" is broken and it's going to take some serious action to right the ship. This District0x platform is arguably one of the best mechanisms for which there is any realistic possibility of righting the ship. It can't be taken down or censored, it provides anonymity and provides power/control to the masses, it serves as a trustless system, it facilitates the transfer of funds, ideas, assets, etc. etc. etc. It really is a potential world-changing technology, IMHO. |
What's the point of a political campaign that is doomed to fail because of a technicality (e.g. foreign funds)?
I never recommended changing your goals, just that you don't need to be specific about the methods for achieving the goal. The community could vote on the method. Adaptability is critical to survival.
Forget about the old ship. build a better new one and leave the rats behind. |

Oh, I gotchya. The whole funding thing... I simply meant "so what" as in the regs are likely/guaranteed to change in the future, and if we really are embracing the future - which I hope we do - then we'll have one commonly accepted currency (like BTC) so foreign funds or a technicality issue won't be a thing. I agree with all your other points and I think we're on the same page. 😁 Thanks for taking the time to read the proposal and offer your feedback. You think it's OK for foreign governments and corporations being directly
involved in a countries politics? I think that's a recipe for conflict...
I've got a few proposals. The reputation one, the franchise one and the
logistics/courier proposal. Would love some feedback.

Hi there. Before I start a new proposal, I wanted to see if there were some synergies here. I am at the airport now, so I will simply copy and paste my previous comments on distict0x slack channel and follow up with further info. Please let me know if you or anyone with a technical background has an interest in creating government jurisdictions on the blockchain -- local, county, then state. Court systems also need to be reclaimed as part of the land jurisdiction of the united States of America - outside of the control of the international criminals who hijacked the actual land jurisdiction from the actual sovereign states and the common law court systems. These international criminals have been forcing the american people to accept their political status as a U.S citizens, unbeknownst to us, and forcing us to use their legal system instead of the constitutionally garranteed common law system, again unbeknownst to us. They do this by press ganging American's out of their natural birth jurisdiction (American State Nationals) and legal system (common law)and into their international jurisdiction (U.S Citizen, Admirality/Maritime Law) and private court system (commercial/civil law, UCC law, Cannon Law). Just like the federal reserve is not federal and is not a reserve, the legal system is not ours, and it is not public, it is private. They securitize all court cases and sell them on the stock/bond market. They have done the same thing with social security. They have securitized all people via the social security system and are trading these as bonds on the open market. They have also placed each American as surety for their debt based system under the federal reserve system. And they have gotten away with it by many illegal means including whitewashing history, violating international law, collusion, white collar fraud... the list of crimes goes on and on. Press ganging is illegal, so is racketeering -- along with all of the other frauds including barratry, personage, identity left, penal slavery, neo-colonialsm 2.0. They have essentially stolen the identity of each American, the name of the county, states, and federal government and have set up all of these under various corporate structures. By doing this, they are treating everyone as a corporation... you me, the country, the state, the federal government. It allows them to legally, while not lawfully enslave all of us, because there is no law against enslaving or raping and pillaging a corporation. The laws that govern corporations are the UCC laws and are under international jurisdiction, the law of the sea. We as living breathing people, not corporations - dead enitities - are entitled to the law of the land; which is common law, not commercial law, admiralty and maritime law; which does not recognize people in their legal framework. It is designed only for corporations and international commerce, not people and private trade. We don't just need local, country, and state government and courts. We need an entirely new federal government to step in under the original constitutitional paremeters. The best choice going forward would be to put all of the governments and courts and state and federal constitutions on the blockchain. The federal government is officially bankrupt and in liquidation and so are the States and municipalities, as they were set up as franchises of the larger corporation. The current provider of those services... the UN and the IMF doing business as the United States, Inc and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are only providing services on a month to month basis until the new contract for a government services organization is up and running. Currently the new contract provider will be the Native American Indians who have unincorporated "federal" territory. The entire united States of America must re-establish all of the local, county, and state governments, and courts in order to self govern ourselves under the constitution. Most likely this will be paper and pen and old school. But if we wish to keep this constitutional republic... the only form of government where each individual person is sovereign - with unalienable rights, not privileges assigned by a government, but given by "God" or spirit or source.... we must protect it via the truth machine that is the blockchain or any blockchain variation. I don't expect everyone to understand what is going on right now, as it is complicated and involves lots of history, most of which needs to be relearned, as what we thought we knew were really lies. We need to get volunteers who are interested in getting engaged asap. We need action like a 5 alrm building fire. This is a huge problem, and things are changing as we speak. Look - a lot of this is getting sorted out right now, but a technology that can help, and help for good, would be a tremendous value and the greatest securer of freedom that this world has ever seen. The world operates according to law, to legal systems (other things as well), and people have corrupted it and used it to their own advantage as a weapon against the people. Its time that the people took their law, their land, their governemnt, and their freedom back once and for all. There has to be a technology solution like district0x and smart contracts that can execute the voting, legal system and governement at local, county, and state levels... as well as federal. I can answer a good number of questions... but it won't replace reading this on your own. Replacing traditional courts / legal jusrisdictions is a bit too much to
ask for a district0x district.
I think the corruption of the legal system is a symptom of the corrupt
financial system not the disease. Fixing the financial / economic system
"disease" will go a long way to fixing the other various "symptoms" -
healthcare, justice, surveillance etc.

Yes, they are intertwined... both need to be fixed. And they are interdependent. One is not separate from the other. Please start reading... otherwise you will find your work is in vain. |

Purpose:
To create a decentralized political voting and campaign fundraising marketplace. (Yes, I know this is close to Sull's Clean Party Proposal and I plan to discuss with him collaboration potential.)
Description:
New Law Justricts (Justricts comes from a simple mash of "Justice" +"Districts", FYI) will be the leveling ground between the 99% of the people who live in the world and the 1% of people who run the world. It can't be denied that big money (e.g. billion-dollar corporations) are influencing political outcomes and regulations- at the expense of the general population. One also can't deny there is a significant amount corruption/influence within the system that is stifling societal progress and repressing the average citizen. The current "system" is actually leading us down a path of self destruction and essentially ruining our society and the world as we know it [for example, in the US, think Trump and his move to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement].
