I modified the "Writing your first patch for Django" tutorial. In the section on "Committing the changes in the patch," I found the explanation regarding the text editor to be less clear. As a novice contributor myself, I encountered challenges in navigating the text editor.

  • The commit message is written in past tense, mentions the ticket number, and ends with a period.
