problem when database is locked

When the keypass database is locked, I'm unable to log with public key authentication.

Is there any way to at least let keepass prompt for unlock passphrase ?

Yes, I have been thinking about doing this. I am kind of surprised that you are the first person to ask. I will hopefully be releasing a new version in a month or so and I will try to add this feature to it.

I also think it would be nice if it would attempt to unlock the password database if the key is requested.
