WARNING: This repository is only experimental and may be deleted without warning!

I'm trying if I can:

  1. Convert the Glassfish SVN repository to GIT
  • only trunk to master and tag and branch 4.1
  1. Create my branch from master and 4.1 to commit patches.
  2. Start more open development than it was today. Now or never.

Reasons:

  1. Glassfish 4.1 has critical bugs, reported in JIRA.
  2. I can patch some, but it seems Oracle is too slow for me.
  3. Patches for SVN are too big and I need some versioning system to maintain it.
  4. It is better to create changes iteratively. GIT is great for that.
