MSI Prestige 14 Evo
Pop!_OS 22.04

Compatibility as added in the doc.

I don't know how to check if the mode change is working or not

Keyboard backlight auto turn off seems not working

Webcam and USB power share grayed out.

I can't compare with windows because I have only linux installed

You can check in the way described here #19

Just like dmitry-s93 said, you can use the following command and see if the cpu power modes changes:

watch -n1 "cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep MHz | awk '{print $1}'";

Or you can also use this browser benchmark and see what score you get on each power mode: https://browserbench.org/Speedometer2.1/

cheers

I tried as you said and I can confirm the mode change works , I noticed slower cpu freq and zero fan noise with battery mode.
I updated the .md file
