Use this utility to audibly nag when the battery gets low or critical in OS X.
Copy battmon.app to the Applications folder.
- Info about alerts is provided at launch.
- Specify an alert volume.
- Specify the low battery threshold.
- Specify the critical battery threshold.
Pro Tip
Once the battery is critical, disabling battmon requires plugging in a charger or selecting Force Quit from the Apple menu.
