[d3d9] Halo 2 Vista flag not rendering properly #1612

Software information

Halo 2 Vista, high detail settings, Game mode: Capture the Flag, Map: Waterworks,
In game anti aliasing set to off

  • GPU: GTX 1050
  • Driver: 445.87
  • Windows build: Windows 10 1909 Build 18363.815
  • DXVK version: 1.6.1

Notes:

  • While using the apitrace dlls, I didn't encounter this issue.

Ah, the extension we need for that actually launched today!

Should be fixed fairly soon but you will need new drivers :)

Ah, the extension we need for that actually launched today!

Should be fixed fairly soon but you will need new drivers :)

May I ask how does that work with Mesa? Do I just compile the drivers against the latest Vulkan headers and the feature will be supported?

Sorry for the slightly off topic question. With Nvidia it's pretty straightforward by using the latest beta drivers but I don't know with AMD.

@jrugia you need to wait until https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/merge_requests/4877 is merged (or build with that merge request).
