Unit and Functional test builds are failing silently #241

Bug

When running a build for in either unit or functional modes, the build it failing silently. It seems to be because of plugin validation error from webpack.

Once fixed the builds execute correctly but as the test builds do not produce a manifest file the logger doesn't report the chunks/assets out on build completion.
