Hi tried this server+client samples and was not able to make it communicate. I tried all the listed ports in the server config and got some exceptions.

open in browser in port 44368 as https and configured in the client to connect https://localhost:44368

I tried also to deactivate the firewall and didn't work.

That's the wrong port. Follow the tutorial and use the port generated for the app.

Some additional detail:
The port is randomly assigned when the GrpcGreeter service project is created, and it is set in Properties\launchSettings.json. There is a port for HTTP and for HTTPS. Note the port number for https. Enter it in Program.cs of the GrpcGreeterClient on this line:
using var channel = GrpcChannel.ForAddress("https://localhost:<yourPortNumberGoesHere>");

I will also update the doc so that stands out more as Rick has already suggested. Thanks Rick.
