You can read about .NET Core 1.0.5 and 1.1.2 in the release notes and .NET blog announcement. This release includes security fixes which are detailed in the Announcements repo.

Please report any issues you find with .NET Core 1.0.5 and 1.1.2 here, either responding to this issue or creating a new issue.

Please include the following information plus any other info that you think is relevant:

VS2017 15.2 release seems to install dotnetcore 1.1.2 on your PC which means freshly compiled code is no longer comparable with Azure as 1.1.2 isn't on azure until next week.. need to edit csproj fille of all projects to reference 1.1.1 in the meantime prior to publish

To wrap up the comment from @NikolaosWakem - the Azure deployment of 1.0.5/1.1.2 was completed.
