I guess when this API is obsolete that there are better alternatives.
The warning on being obsolete should point to these, or that/why there are none.

@ite-klass Thanks for pointing this out.

We'd found this in #1876 and it was fixed in dotnet/dotnet-api-docs#323

This is no longer marked as obsolete. Closing as fixed.

Just to be thorough, the attribute removed was just a workaround fix until #1876 is completely fixed. The API is obsolete in Mono, I believe.
