In version 7.2.0, we marked the UseDispatchingPerGroup option as [Obsolete] with plans to remove it in future versions, and intended to replace its functionality with the EnableConsumerPrefetch option. However, based on user feedback, UseDispatchingPerGroup has its own unique use cases. Therefore, in version 7.2.1, we will continue to support the UseDispatchingPerGroup option, and EnableConsumerPrefetch will also take effect simultaneously.
The two configuration options determine how the consumer task execute with different affecting its behavior. The following diagram describes the working mechanism.
