Encountered this error upon trying to change a user's role in dotproject 2.1.9 (ver with regex fix)

errors

the user role assignment/removal works correctly but this shows up every time.

I'm fairly sure this is related to some aspect of server configuration, either it dislikes the path being used for /tmp/ or some other setting. Tried increasing the php memory cache but it still shows up.

dotProject also doesn't want to generate Gantt charts which I think is related to this or a similar issue.
