Hi, The repo is no longer available. I'm currently sat with all the electronics put together just praying either the repo gets fixed or some kind sole is happy to clone their SD card for me so i can have a usable item.

I'm hoping to get this working with xplane 12 over time but would really like to have some working code to start with as it will be a steep learning curve for me. currently make cant make the FMC package as it complains ExtPlaneClient.h is no longer in the GIT Clone. I've tried several other versions of this file from across the internet but all fail so I'm assuming Dotsha made some significant changes within his version of the file

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi, Manner13,since the repo is out of date, I tried to build from source.
However I got the same issue regarding the 'ExtPlaneClient.h', did you solve the problem.

Hi Dotsha, thanks so much for your response, yes ive got mine mostly working now. only thing that doesnt seem to work is the backlit buttons and one or 2 of the message etc lights.i have found if i bridge out the transistor i can have backlit keys so i bodged a switch between the legs so i can switch them off/on etc. it still seems to work pretty well with xplane 12. just need to figure the lights and it should all be good.i really appreciate you getting back to me and all the work you have done.i found you have a extplane repo so i built from yours which fixed the build. Wiring pi i had to download from elsewhere as its no longer bundled into the pi software but it wasnt too difficult. im just not sure if its changed since your build and thats why im seeing lighting issues i.e. the pwm etc thanks again and if i can help in any way please feel free to give me a shoutregards Dave ManleySent from my Galaxy -------- Original message --------From: maths4513 @.> Date: 06/04/2024 12:42 (GMT+00:00) To: dotsha747/Pi-XPlane-FMC-CDU @.> Cc: Manners13 @.>, Author @.> Subject: Re: [dotsha747/Pi-XPlane-FMC-CDU] The Repo is no longer available (Issue #7) Hi, Manner13,since the repo is out of date, I tried to build from source. Hi, Manner13, this is not Dotsha... Just another some guy here.
I also solve the ExtPlane error with the repo u mentioned, however what about the 'sdl2.h' error, did you use the official lib from raspy or the repo- from Dotsha :libsdl2-rpifb
I tried to build the Dotsha one, but failed, errors such as Unmet build dependecncies: debhelper (>=0) and cannot access archive 'libsdl2/libsdl2-rpifb_2.0.7_armhf.deb': No such file or directory..
Any help are welcomed. Thanks forehead.
