v0.7.5 - Smells and Roundabouts
This is a minor update, which doesn't yet carry with it any new story content, but a lot of minor tweaks to the story engine itself.
🕹️ UI Updates
Typography
- Backgrounds use a subtle gradient
- In vore passages, this gradient rotates and undulates!
- Made the body text a little bigger
- Commands use a right triangle arrow as a bullet
- The Help sceen keys use fancy key graphics, inspired by Keyboard CSS
- Passages now animate left and right as they fade in
- Update to Twemoji v14.0 😀, so Male!Ren can use the 🫃 pregnant man emoji
New achievements UI
- The Achievements list now uses a emoji-rich table
- Locked achievements tell you a slight hint about where to look.
⛔ Content Warnings
It's important that readers can make an informed decision about the content they choose to read. Out of ignorance, I've made mistakes on this in the past. I've made an effort to improve and standarize the use of Content Warnings within the story text.
- Reinstated a lot of messages I removed previously
- As a convention:
- Content warnings below or inside the commands list refer to upcoming content.
- Content warnings at the top of a passage refer to the current passage.
Hints
- Some commands give hints about where a path will lead.
Behind the scenes
- The order of passages in "Dance a little" (the living room scene) is now completely deterministic, which should hopefully be a little less confusing.
- Minor stability tweaks to the engine
- Twemoji graphics now get loaded behind the scenes when you're not looking, which should make the reading experience much smoother.

- New story route – 9,000 more words! 70 more passages!
- Againstt your beptter judgement, you drink five solo cups of vodka-spiked fruit punchc, and get suuuper blackout drunsk.
- You wake up in the kitchen with a wicked hangover and temporary amnesia.
- Thankfully, some good samaritans looked after you: meet Nikki the Cat, and her voyeuristic twin sibling, Nox.
- Nox produces a mouse, and they urge you to swallow her.
- CW: Alcohol abuse. Threats of violence. Sadism. Player as pred (optional).
Other story updates 📖
Zen ending
- Rewrote the Zen ending, to hopefully be less pretentious and nonsensical (5768604).
Byron route
- Rewrote Byron's epilogue to be even more pretentious and nonsensical (e152845).
- Byron's dialogue is now rendered in Times New Roman, instead of loading Tinos externally (590b88d).
- This should hopefully speed up loading a little.
Ren route
- Ren's cellmate Xander ¢hanged to u$e a new $peaking quirk (176b8bd).
- Ren describes Hollis as being agender, and uses a custom emoji (
) for this. (5c59e5d, ab14301)
Misc changes
Hotfix v0.7.0b
Because my testing/proofing department consists only of a bored hyena mashing keys rabidly, a couple bugs slipped into the build. This version fixes them, although there may be more. Special thanks to Trebortron3, author of An Angel Next Door, for bringing both of these to my attention.
- Fixed two instances where Nikki and Kaia's dialogue wasn't styled properly (1b55275, 692e9a8)
- Fix a paragraph in the "Oww! Getoutgetout!"/"Nikki: Gulp." passage where the paths are accidentally swapped, to confusing results (4c9ef39)
Hotfix v0.7.0c
- Fixed a bug where iOS devices would play music regardless of whether sound is disabled. (c1513b2)
- Removed several Content Warnings were only jokes or spoilers. (b4c702d)
- I still think "CW: A dude's butt in your face" and "CW: Peer pressure" are pretty funny, but they strike me as slightly out of place?
- Resolved an issue where following some "Restart" links didn't reset the story state. (dc25ac1)
- Some minor typo fixes in Byron's route. (1b07558)
- Fixed a silly continuity error. At the very end he would mutter about how he hopes nobody stole his guitar, which is nonsense because he's had it with him the entire time.

v0.6.6 - The Fix is In (Hotfix)
This revision only serves to fix an embarrassing typo in the Byron route that I definitely should have noticed while proofreading.
Minor fixes
- Fixed an instance where Male!Byron's pronouns weren't adjusted, leading to "He pats her gut." (commit 348d590).

Hazel Gently (boy version) 🐻
- If desired, Hazel's gender can now be swapped to male.
- As usual, this choice only affects pronouns, and nothing else.
- Minor style tweaks to her epilogue.
Other minor fixes
- Fixed a typo in Ren's route where his font quirk did not apply.
- The unfinished "Grab some punch" option no longer links to a non-existent passage.
Interface update 🕹
- Achievements have been renamed and restyled.
- Updated "Enable Sound" text.
- Fixed a bug where sounds would never stop after restarting.

The Byron Route 🐺
At every party, there's someone who brings a guitar and proceeds to dazzle the room with four chord progressions. Meet Emmet/Emily Byron, a narcissistic jerk 𝐬𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐥𝐟 with facile, pretentious ideas 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 and mediocre 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 guitar skills.
- Hang around the living room for a bit, and strike up a conversation. Just don't get too close.
- CW: Negging. Threats and violent coercion. Unwilling vore. Minor blood. Rapey subtext.
Other changes
- The Zen Ending is now 120% more Zen.
Stomach sounds 🔊
- The game now includes a (highly experimental) engine for playing background sounds such as:
- Stomach grumbles.
- Ambient noises.
- Zen sounds.
- It's muted by default, to avoid surprising you.
- So far, this applies to vore scenes, and some of the epilogue scenes.
- This also might not work. Let me know if it doesn't.
Interface update 🕹
- Passage links now use nice big buttons.
- Several tweaks for improving use on mobile devices:
- Buttons are bigger and easier to press.
- The Broom Closet Ending now requires less tapping.
- Adjusted font size on smaller screens.
Misc/stability tweaks:
- Twemoji loading is faster and more reliable.
