This is a project that I started in late 2016 to help me improve my solve times with the 3x3x3 Rubik's cube. I also started working on implementing my own cube solver to help non cubers solve their cubes by just following a set of instructions. I stopped working on this project in early 2017 and never finished the cube solver.
Now that I am revisiting this project in 2023, I will be finishing the cube solver and updating the android API to the most modern version. My plan is to make a YouTube video about how my cube solver works in detail on my channel "Rayfuzu Learning".
Upgrades
- Camera / OpenCV option for cube setup
(You can now take a picture of each side of your cube to load it into my cube solver instead of having to use the 2D cube setup Activity. The OpenCV code was cloned from https://github.com/ucchiee/AndroidRubikCubeSolver )
