Enhance App Version

change app_version to allow versioning and account for notes per version

for example:

• version 1.0 - initial app release
• version 1.1 - added logic to check for valid user on login

this should be similar to "environment release" info (e.g. Server) where we have differing versions of a server with notes and details and the ability to 'deactivate' a version.
