FAQ
Q: Can I use & modify the source code freely for my church?
A: Yes. And please read the MIT License. Providing bug fixes and enhancements back to the South Ridge app are appreciated.
Q: Who manages the photos and where do they come from?
A: The photos are managed by the South Ridge Facebook page. The photos are updated in real-time with your device.
Q: Who manages the videos and where do they come from?
A: The videos are managed by the South Ridge Vimeo channel tagged with "south ridge community church". The videos are updated in real-time with your device.
Q: How long until the weekly podcast is available?
A: Usually one business day after its available on the South Ridge website.
Q: Where does the news come from?
A: It is identical to the eNews emails that are sent weekly.
Q: Sometimes podcasts, photos, or videos are not listed or displayed.
A: In the top right-hand corner utilize the "refresh" icon. This will reset all cached items and force the app to contact the server again to "look" for updates.
Q: When I try to snap a (or select an existing) photo the upload to South Ridge fails. When can I try to do?
A: Short answer - your photo may (or may not) have geolocation data or date & time information associated. So you must give the South Ridge app permission to location data.
