Hello Joshua,
We've being using the Stripe payment processor here in Belgium for the last year.
As Stripe clients we have been informed that as of the 24 January Stripe now supports five popular European payment methods : Bancontact, Giropay, iDEAL, SEPA Direct Debit, and SOFORT (https://stripe.com/be/payments). We would be very interested in a trying to develop a multi-payment feature to the current extension and would be willing to collaborate on all levels.

  • Task assessment, work-load, pricing.
  • Finding funding.
  • The development itself.

Please get in touch to let us know how we could move this forward quickly.

Regards

Milos Jariabka

Hi everyone !

Maybe there are other contributors that would be intrested in this, does anybody know where to start with it ?

Here is the interesting part in Stripe documentation :
https://stripe.com/docs/sources/payment-methods

We'll take some time to investigate more deeply next week, will come back with a feedback.

Hi Xavier,

as we've had no other contribution to this post, we're not much ahead.
We're ready to rise a 1500€ budget right away for this but the starting and achivement points are still very fuzzy.

If you're intrested in a conversation about this project give me a call 495-664-164 here in our flat country ;-)

Hope to give better news shortly.

Hi @h-c-c (Peter),

I'm a collegue of Milos.
I was looking at the stripe documentation, and examining drastik's code to see how it all fits together, in order to get familiar with the code.

Obviously I don't know how well you know stripe but can you confirm my impression that the major modifications would be in Stripe.js, implimenting a "Source object based" payment rather than a "checkout" based one?

Regards

Richard

This would be very important for our EU based NGO. What is the status?

Hi, if you are interested in this could you raise an issue on https://lab.civicrm.org/extensions/stripe/issues

Then we can look at some funding to get this implemented.
