And make sure you include all relevant information when asking for help so that we're able to help you, "I get java.lang.NullPointerException" is NOT helpful. A FULL stacktrace when you get NullPointerExceptions IS helpful. Also include the exact revision you're using, and any steps needed to reproduce the error.
Remember: Questions that require effort to ask, are responded with more effort in the answer. Give a good question, get a good answer. Give a thorough bug report, get a fix immediately. Check the history of the forums and trac and you'll see what kind of requests get results and which requests get ignored.
