I am not sure if we are facing the same problem. I didn't have git installed when I ran the command to start the ionic 2 project so that's why I got the error. "You probably don't have git installed on your machine. |

I am having problems creating a new Ionic2 project. I followed exactly the Installing Ionic for version 2 found here https://ionicframework.com/docs/v2/getting-started/installation/ and get the below error.
Steps to reproduce:
