updating dropwizard to 2.0.13 causes issues with jersey abstractBinder (using <artifactId>dropwizard-bom</artifactId>)

Getting

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/glassfish/jersey/internal/inject/AbstractBinder
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.glassfish.jersey.internal.inject.AbstractBinder

When I update my project to latest dropwizard. apparently there's a dependency issue here mvn dependency:tree:

I've tried to explicitly add jersey-client and jersey-client but that will cause:
java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: INCLUDE_ALL also adding jersey-bom won't work

Jersey 2.25.1 and Jetty 9.4.18.v20190429 are not the versions of these dependencies provided by Dropwizard 2.0.13 but look like they came from Dropwizard 1.3.x.

You're probably overriding them somewhere in your build.

Thanks for looking into this Jochen!
I have been analyzing my dependencies list and the bom that I'm using to control different versions; The dependency tree certainly shows old versions of jetty and jersey, but in my project there's nothing that pulls any old versions of dropwizard.
according to what I have in the tree, it appears that these versions are pulled from io.dropwizard:dropwizard-core:jar:2.0.13:compile, io.dropwizard:dropwizard-jersey:jar:2.0.13:compile and io.dropwizard:dropwizard-testing:jar:2.0.13:compile

@joschi I believe the issue exists when using:

unfortunately I cannot share effective pom due to some internal dependencies but I've analyzed it all. and the old versions of jetty and jersey are certainly coming from dropwizard-** dependencies when using:

<groupId>io.dropwizard</groupId>
<artifactId>dropwizard-bom</artifactId>

I've updated my project not to use the bom to control the versions rather statically defined each of dropwizard-core, dropwizard-testing, dropwizard-views etc... with <version>2.0.13</version> and it worked.
Could you please check your:

<groupId>io.dropwizard</groupId>
<artifactId>dropwizard-bom</artifactId>

there's certainly an issue here.
