There doesn't seem to be any clear license associated with this extension.

You're right. I will try to reach other contributors to understand what their desire is. Given terms of extensions.gnome.org I think the best option is GPLv2 or later versions, but the amount of code owned by me here is negligible.

I'm Victor Tseng (Palatis), I'd prefer the license stays GPLv3 as stated from my oldest repository
https://code.google.com/archive/p/gnome-shell-extensions-coverflowalttab/

however, I'm not paranoidly enforcing this, whatever FOSS license will be fine, as discussed in the email thread.

I published the source code in the hope that it will be useful, and the code has diverged a-lot since 2011.
The work from me to the current state is probably very little (close to none i guess... maybe just the icon.....), so I'd rather pay more respects to you guys who is actually making the major contributions to the active version of this extension.

thanks for all your great work :-)

Meanwhile, we reached an agreement on GPL v3...are you ok with that license for your contribution?

My message was for @ge0rgecz that was missing on our email conversation but it's still a contributor, so I'd like his approval for the code he contributed.

👍 Approved. Developer is not a typical user of this, so GPL v3 is optimal licence.
