Is it possible implement a second selection based on the first one (addDates)?

I'd like to know if is it possible turn to available the user do a second selection based on the first one, which is the traditional selection throught addDates. The idea would be a clickable button which would change the highlight color to another one, showing the second selection. If someone could give some direction, I'd be so happy. Thanks.
