parameter ID search matches partial string of ID #1

The new code has a bug where a partial part of a Bitwarden ID will match, and my code assumes it's a full/complete ID. Basically, my ID search is a substring search, and not a whole word search. It's easily fixed with additional tools (eg. grep), but, I'm trying to figure out if I can fix this with just using bash.
