This week I'm going to prep the area for the water pipes #270 T1d. 👷‍♂️

What we need you (Inês) to do is:

• Call the Water Well People and ask them how soon they can come and install the Water Pipes & Pump. ⏳
  • Tell them we will be ready for them when they arrive! 👌
• Update this issue with estimate. 📝

Note: this issue (and it's corresponding on-site dig-work #270) is a BLOCKER for getting the pool water refreshed #268
Please treat this as your highest priority so we can un-block it and give the pool guys an estimate of when the water will be available. Yes, I know a pool is a "nice to have", but going into summer, it's very nice... 👍

@nelsonic Called them this morning and they have confirmed that the latest orçamento is still viable and that they are able to come out 'fim desta semana ou princípio da próxima'.

@nelsonic We need to decide whether to go with one pump or the other so I can confirm everything to them:

In a side by side comparison, given how much material costs have gone up, the quote hasn't gone up as much as I thought it might from 2020:

• Fornecimento & montagem da electrobomba: Up €90, from €1330 to €1220
• Fornecimento & montagem do balão de pressão: Up €190, from €490 to €680 (note that there is a more expensive option available here for €880 and a capacidade de 300 litros em vez de 200 litros
• Fornecimento & colocação da caixa de proteção: Up €20 from €60 to €80 but the previous quote was in betão com tampa de ferro galvanizado and this quote is for a box 'em fibra' 🤷
• Ligações electricas e hidraulicas has gone up from €5 to €7.50 a meter 🙃

This new quote comes with all the measurements correctly entered though which is a plus. I'm confident there is no 'hidden work' with these guys and we already know they're not doing the taps.

Please ask them if we need the bigger "balão de pressão". If they say it will last longer or work better (please axsk them to be specific) then for the extra €200 it seems reasonable to me. But 100 litres might mean that it takes up too much space in our already crowded machine room. so also get the approximate cubic dimensions of the "balão". Please/thanks. 🙏

Definitely prefer the "caixa em fibra" (polycarbonate with fibre strands), even though it's easier to break,
as "galvanizado" (galvanised steel) will rot and require more maintenance.

They have asked if they can start the work on Friday because they're conscious that if they do the work on Monday, they may not be able to finish and they have things booked in from Tuesday onwards that are immovable.

Three things to answer:

1. So given you're on your own because Miguel picked a terrible week to not show up to work, do you think it's possible to have everything ready by Friday morning? If there is anything I can help with whilst Mika is here tomorrow afternoon, please let me know.
2. Is there trifásico energy to the outside area of the house? And can it even handle any more stuff without tripping?
3. The 'balão de pressão' is 1,6m x 0,6m. There is also the electrobomba which he didn't have the measurements for but should probably be above ground?
