Create a nice svg badge and suitable link for readmes.

@jrans love this idea! what copy would go in the badge/button? max 3 words (preferably two)

Examples: https://github.com/dwyl/repo-badges

David has the most words: Dependency Status
Gitter has branding (and tracking) in their badge: Join the chat at https://gitter.im/{ORG-or-USERNAME}/{REPO-NAME}

I quite like the idea of having a number (preferably a percentage) which shows how far the project (repo) is from being "done".
e.g: Tudo Prioritises GitHub Issues

But I'm sure others will have great ideas for what to put in the Repo Badge.
What were you thinking when you raised this issue...?

Unassigning as I think this needs further discussion as a group!

No discussion required. I'm building it straight after I'm done with _Hansel_. 🚀
This is the single most important marketing "gimmick" available.
Our job is to make it useful for the people so its a no-brainer to include it in their repo readme.
So, if you want to help with something, help with coming up with compelling benefits to the repo-owner... 🔥
