Short summary: on OpenShift lower than 4.2 + WaitForFirstConsumer Storage Class Mode we faced issues that workspace failed to start because of the unrecoverable event FailedScheduling. It's needed to document such an issue with unrecoverable events on OpenShift < 4.2.
The solution for a user would be upgrading OpenShift,
a workaround would be tune che.infra.kubernetes.workspace_unrecoverable_events and remove FailedScheduling from that list
