The address of maxDirectMemBuff is used after the scope in which it was declare has closed. A compiler would be free to used that space for anything it thought appropriate, clobbering the contents needed for the call to getPlatformPropertyList(). Signed-off-by: Keith W. Campbell <keithc@ca.ibm.com>
