The ecCKD package can generate fast and accurate gas optics models suitable for use atmospheric radiation schemes such as ecRad, making use of the correlated k-distribution (CKD) method, and optionally the full-spectrum correlated-k (FSCK) method.
The subdirectories are as follows:

m4- Macros supporting the autotools build system
The ecCKD package uses the autotools build system but has several pre-requisites such as the NetCDF library, the Adept combined automatic differentiation, array and optimization library, and the CKDMIP software. You will also need to download the CKDMIP spectral absorption database, which is around 700 GB in size. The password for the FTP site is available on request from Robin Hogan.
For a full description of how to compile and run ecCKD, please consult
the User Guide on the ecCKD web
site. On a Unix/Linux system
with Latex installed you should be able to recreate the documentation
by typing make documentation in the doc directory.
