SSH Access

Setting Up SSH Access

ssh-keygen -f ~/.ssh/[name-of-ssh-key] -C "[Description for the use of this SSH key]"

Starting the SSH Agent

Use the following to start the SSH agent.

eval `ssh-agent -s`

Making An SSH Connection

To add an SSH agent: ssh-add ~/.ssh/[name-of-ssh-key]

To list all (added/active) SSH agents: ssh-add -l

To delete all (added/active) SSH agents: ssh-add -D
