Link2App - open links in their native apps
-------------------------------------------

Tired of twitter links opening in Safari? Want dropbox to open in its app? (you actually can’t with dropbox but it’s an example). Well now you can achieve that for any app with a (documented) url scheme. Easily extensible via Lua scripts, you can open any link in its native app.

Implemented mostly in Lua (see main.lua) with an ObjC lua-binding/hook/settings
Changes to settings take effect immediately, no need to respring or even kill running apps. All new scripts (even on first install) default to off and will need to be toggled on.

Lua file format
-------------------------------------------
must return function(url) which should return nil or the modified url
View /Library/Link2App/Scripts/twitter.lua for an example. Changing the default browser is an option with
Link2App, view browserchanger.lua for an example of redirecting http: and https: to google chrome.

For the selected_scripts file simply put the lua file script name on a line. Comments exist with the ‘#’ character.
Ordering is available by the order of lines in the file... See the selected_scripts that comes in this package for an example

Currently implemented
-------------------------------------------
twitter/tweetbot/twitterrific redirect user profiles and statuses
browser changer change http(s) link to open in google chrome. Should be simple to modify for other web browsers.
github (iOctocat)
Instagram users and images, although Instagram pops up an error for images (not a problem with L2A though)
Mailto: redirects and converts all mailto: links to the Gmail app
Cydia only extracts package/ urls so that other stuff like api/ and connect/ aren’t screwed up
IMDB redirects movie titles
Ebay redirects items and searches
Vine Partial support, parts of the url are stuck in the actual web page
Foap Supports users, tags, and photos. Missions and brands are not supported because of the way Foap formats their urls

Unable to implement
-------------------------------------------
Dropbox lack of url scheme support
--Vine lack of url scheme documentation(/support?)
Facebook lack of documentation for the v4 application (and old methods don’t work either)

Implemented In-App Browser overrides
