IntelliJ 2021.2 and blinking mode

Hey,

a) seems like with version 2021.2 its not working any longer.
b) also it would be awesome, if blinking mode is not the default mode selected, because it causes a lot of performance issues for our employees, as it freezes ui for around 20 seconds. ( on windows and linux)

• For me the plugin is still working but maybe the images I compare are too similar. Is it possible that you send me the images you compare? Or tell me which format they have (png, gif, ???) maybe I could reproduce it.
• The "defaultmode" is the mode you selected last. Somehow Intellij stores it and the next time you do a diff intellij uses this. It should help if you change it to "Original background" and close the diff window, next time this should be selected.

And you last question. Does the blinking mode - except that its somehow slow and annoying - helps you to detect differences in images?

a) its even failing, when images are the same, see attached image in mail I sent to you or here, copy it and try to open in compare mode

b) yes it will save it, but in practice we changed projects and IntelliJ configurations often, also it stucks the first time for around 20 seconds, so not so nice, the blinking mode.

Ok for me is the plugin also not working. :-( Seems not to depend on the image size.

Sorry, I tested with Intellij 2021.1.3 and thought that this is 2021.2. It was not. So lets see...

Fixed - plugin is working under Intellij 2021.2 and default diff mode is not blinking. I uploaded the new version to jetbrains and hopefully it should be delivered during the next couple of working days. If you have the new version and its not working, please reopen this issue.
