Geckoboard allows widgets to use certain HTML elements in the text output. If you want to use HTML markup in text widgets set it as the :html hash element instead of :text and it won't be escaped in the template

Great, thanks for this! I just made a small tweak so that the indentation of the output XML wasn't changed.

Pushed out a new gem release (0.2.3) including this change. Thanks!
