This is a simple example of a car parts catalogue store using php, MySQL, Bootstrap and jQuery. The project demonstrates usage of autocomplete, autosuggest, notifications, table sort, datepicker, google charts ajax and more.

Create tables and import data

Database Connection

before starting please create a DB_Connection.php file in models folder. example file:

Import Data

$ cd sql_data
$ mysql -u username -p database_name < tables_structure.sql
$ mysql -u username -p database_name < data.sql

Operations

Manager can:

• view a list of spare parts currently on stock (quantity > 0)
• view a list of spare parts currently out of stock (quantity 0)
• Search a product
• Edit a product
• Add a new product

Manger can also

• View a sales report
• View best selling parts

Client can:

• view a list of spare parts currently on stock (quantity > 0)
• Search a product
• Buy a product

Each product consists of:

• Part type
• Condition
• Manufactured year
• Textual description,
• Price (USD)
• Quantity
• Date of insertion to stock
