Our docs https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/cloud-on-k8s/current/k8s-volume-claim-templates.html use a storage class called standard without explaining where this class should come from or saying that it is just an example that has to be replaced by a real storage class that actually exists in the cluster. We could also mention that the ECK operator does not create any storage classes by itself.
