The official 5.1 documentation on the _parent field states that it is possible to run a term query on the _parent field and retrieve all children documents with the specified parent, i.e. similar to what can be achieved with an has_parent query.
However, according to the breaking changes in 5.0, the _parent field is not indexed anymore, and hence, a termor terms query on the _parent field doesn't work anymore.
The documentation of the _parent field should reflect that breaking change and mention the new parent_id query instead of a term/terms query on the _parent field.
