Show this layer only is nowadays ignoring the bottom layer if it's a EMS basemap or TMS (maybe WMS as well?).

Not sure if this is something we can easily fix (I'd say is almost a bug, but unsure) but the lack of a "basemap" layer differentiation in the UI makes this feature to work in ways users may found confusing:

  • The option is enabled for the last layer (if it's a basemap or TMS), even it does not produce any effect
  • If the last layer is a documents layer then it works

With some visual hint (and associated logic) to differentiate between basemap or reference layers and data layers we could provide a more consistent UX.
