Kibana version: 8.1 BC-3 Kibana cloud environment

Host OS and Browser version: All, All

Build details:

BUILD: 50346
COMMIT: 0335dd6a26ef29ae9021d0fae9347dc88f3b7d6e

Preconditions:

  1. 8.1 BC-3 Kibana cloud environment should be available.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Login to Kibana environment.
  2. Navigate to Agents tab click Add Agent button, create a policy with name Agent Policy 1
  3. Close this flyout and again create a new policy from Add agent flyout with same name Agent Policy 1.
  4. Observe Agent Policy creation failed error.

Expected Result:
Descriptive error message for creating duplicate policy from Add Agent flyout should be there.
Like:
Agent policy creation failed: Same name policy already exists.

We have validated this issue on 8.1 BC-4 and found it fixed now.

  • Descriptive error message for creating duplicate policy from Add Agent flyout is there.

Further testing details are shared on related PR at #125931 (comment)
