I want to export the kibana configuration, so that when I install a new environment I can import it automaticly.

This is still to be added to Kibana 4.

In the meantime take a look at #2310

A snapshot/restore of the .kibana index ?

You may have a look at Elasticdump for exporting and importing Elasticsearch indices. I am using it to import and export .kibana index with mapping and data.
