Using Zadig to Reset USB Driver (Windows Only)

When flashing programs over USB on Windows, it may occasionally be necessary to reset your USB driver to the correct setting.

You can use the free program Zadig to accomplish this process.

  • To begin, download Zadig here. Use the most recent version.

  • Launch Zadig and put the Daisy into bootloader mode by holding the BOOT button down, and then pressing the RESET button.

  • Click the Options menu in Zadig and select "List All Devices."

  • In the drop down menu inside the main window, select "DFU in FS mode," followed by selecting "WinUSB" in the target driver box.

Note: Do not worry if the box on the left displays "(NONE)" instead of "libusb0" like in the following screenshot.

  • Click "Replace Driver." Zadig will update to the appropriate driver to flash Daisy.
