Wrong menu color with Adwaita-dark

• Electron version: 1.7.9
• Operating system: Fedora 27

Expected behavior

The menus should have a color that let's them be easily read, even on a dark theme.

Actual behavior

Setting the default dark theme on Fedora 27 with GNOME (Adwaita-dark) makes the menu look black:

This can be seen in other apps as well, as stated here

How to reproduce

1. Set the theme to Adwaita-dark using GNOME tweaks (gnome-tweak-tool)
2. Open the electron-quick-start sample app
3. See the menu

The version of Electron you reported this on has been superseded by newer releases.

If you're still experiencing this issue in Electron v2.0.x or later, please add a comment specifying the version you're testing with and any other new information that a maintainer trying to reproduce the issue should know.
