Avatars for DMs sometimes get lost and the initial letter is used instead #20064

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have a DM
  2. Use the app

Outcome

What did you expect?

The DM rooms to have the avatar of the other user in the DM

What happened instead?

Some DM rooms just have the initial letter until I clear the cache

Additional notes

This might be caused by a SyncAccumulater bug

This still occurs with latest 1.11.0 (Firefox; MacOS)

Keeps happening constantly. Most of my DMs rooms now display first letter of the user

Also feels like it has to happen once, and after that, avatar won't return.
