Your use case

What would you like to do?

I just got a bunch of UISIs from Susan. I am about to rageshake it; rather than me having to ask her out-of-band to rageshake it'd be much more useful if the app prompted her automatically to rageshake (and do so on the right device), so when she's next online the first thing she sees would be a rageshake prompt which would then autocorrelate with my report.

We did this on Element Call and it helped tracking down a coherent map of problems enormously.

The current auto-rageshake logic only handles the receiving side - not the sending side where the problem could equally exist.

Why would you like to do it?

To try to rid us of the plague of UISIs forever.

How would you like to achieve it?

By the crypto team implementing mutual rageshakes as described above.

Have you considered any alternatives?

If the lab option is enabled on the receiver side it will send matching RS.
