The existing example does not highlight SNI as being of importance, due to "default_backend" being used.

Thank you for your patience while we get round to this PR, it is appreciated.

The existing example does not highlight SNI as being of importance, due to "default_backend" being used.

Do you think it worth updating the original example to remove default_backend then? Doing so within the PR would be fine, I think, and doesn't need to be mentioned in the changelog.

Can these be combined into one line?

matrix-host matrix-path are an AND conditional, whereas matrix-sni is separate - there might be a way to combine it on one line using some parenthesis but I have not looked into that and I think it would become less readable than two lines.

Ah I see, I hadn't realised that including them on each line meant AND rather than OR. In which case, what is currently there is fine.

Hi @anoadragon453, thanks for getting back.
The existing example uses a separate port for federation traffic, whereas mine is for single port operation.

The existing example does not highlight SNI as being of importance,
due to "default_backend" being used.

It appears this doesn't make sense when no acls are defined for the matrix-federation frontend, so ignore this suggestion.

The rest looks good to me. Thank you for your contribution!
