It doesn't look like the same issue to me. In #1126 only the cursor is visible, in mine, I can see the cursor and the desktop (with the background, windows that were open before locking the computer and everything). They login then see a black screen, I can't even login but I see how my desktop looked before I locked my computer |
Something similar is happening to me. I can't confirm if its the same issue. The desktop freezes for a few seconds after locking the system (meta + L) and then unfreezes. The same happens when change tty and then switch back (ctrl + alt + f6 then ctrl + alt + f7). The system takes a while(sometimes more than 10 seconds) to recognize inputs (only the cursor moves). I dont have nvidia drivers as I dont have a nvidia gpu. So its probably not related to the nvidia driver specifically? OS: Hardware:

What Happened
After logging in, when I put the computer to sleep then wake it up, it displays the desktop exactly how it was before I put the computer to sleep and it's frozen.
Expected Behavior
Login screen shows up, allowing to sign in and resume the session.
