To do such a thing on the system the user must access the nm-connection-editor using the terminal. It's more like a suggestion of a feature, it would be nice to have a "forget existing network" option at the default network manager.

@wedsonlopes thanks for raising the issue, I'd add a couple of points this to make it more clear.

  • First this feature exists (see the screenshot in the ReadMe -- Edit Connections... at the bottom). it was there in Juno but due to some bug it disappeared.
  • This is still visible in the Mobile Broadband section which appears if a modem is connected.

I hope this is fixed in the upcoming version of elementary OS or if it's already fixed in any PRs please mention and close this issue.
