Forms arrive blank

Prerequisites

• [ x] I have searched for similar issues in both open and closed tickets and cannot find a duplicate.
• [x ] The issue still exists against the latest stable version of Elementor.

Description

elemntor forms sends a blank form (both to mail and database), tried deactivating all plugins except ele and elepro and still didnt manage to get it to work, had to downgrade epro to version 2.4.8

Steps to reproduce

upgrade elementor to the latest version

Isolating the problem

• [x ] This bug happens with only Elementor plugin active (and Elementor Pro).
• [ x] This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active.
• [x ] I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.

After reviewing this issue again, we have found that this issue might be caused by missing ID in the form fields.

Seems like that was the issue, For some reason then the new version of elepro is deleting the forms id

Letters comes empty. Temporary return to 2.4 branch.

Has this been fixed as emails were still coming through blank despite upgrading. Works now that I have manually added ids to the form fields.

You can add any ID you want but best to use the field name as a reference.

To bad I have the same problem. Used a standard elementor mail form but, when sent all the fields are empty. Using version 2.5.1.6. After downgrading to 2.4.7 the email form is sent successful with all the information in the fields.

I'm having the same problem.
I tried adding IDs to the form fields and also tried to use the fields' specific shortcodes instead of [all-fields].

Using latest WP and Elementor pro as of today.

Once in a while when Wordpress updates I get this problem (blank forms) on some of the sites I've developed. It makes you look bad in your clients eyes. It's bad for business too - time wasted to fix the problem.

I've decided that I don't want to depend on Elementor for forms, simply unreliable.

Now (and will do for all projects) using Ninja Forms to do the job. If you decide on Ninja you might want to add some css to customize it.

The bug is still there. I am using Elementor v2.5.9. I am still getting blank messages.
Although there's a workaround.
Click on the form and in the left side (editor) panel. Click on each field like Name, Email, Message, go to 'Advanced' and provide each field of your form a unique ID in the box.
Update and now you'll get all the messages properly.

The same issue with blank forms in email message after submit button on webpage.

I know this is closed, but this same problem happened recently on my site. The same fix @samacker77 had works still.

My question - is there a way to view these messages although the information is blank in email and inside of the "submissions" tab of Elementor?
