Clicking "Show <n> new items" button on home timeline show empty status

When a new notification event such as "Likes" is received, it's also shown in the home timeline as "Show new items". And if we click the button, it will only show an invalid empty status without a real post.

When another account clicks the like button, the account receives a new event.

In notification page

There is no issue if we see the button and click in the notification page.

In home timeline

But in the home timeline, "Like" notification should not be shown, and clicking the button shows the invalid status.
