Do we really need three different login options on BoardIndex?

Yeah, more old stuff inheritied from SMF. I mentioned this over at the forum. http://www.elkarte.net/index.php?topic=492.msg3761#msg3761

I have a plan. My current 2c is that we should drop the greeting at top right, drop the button from the main menu, drop the silly tiny text that tells people the bleeding obvious (and asks them to do something that they will do if they feel like it anyway) and just make things adequate and clean.

I also think that, since we're obviously going for an FB-style user area with tiny avatar at upper right, we could deprecate the old avatar/notifications stuff that goes next to the news. Just make that area basic full width news, with additional full width warnings/notifications when necessary (admin session, maintenance mode, whatever).
